The Shared Societies Project has produced various documents that can be useful to leaders in advancing shared societies and to others promoting leadership action in building a world safe for difference. Project documents have benefited from the input of the leadership experience of Club of Madrid Members and the expertise of the Expert Advisory Panel. • The Declaration for Shared Societies by which Members of the Club of Madrid state their Commitment, present their Vision of a socially society and the Rationale for promoting social cohesion, and the Principles and Assumptions underlying effective approaches to building a shared society.
• 10 Commitments which are required to promote shared societies. The Commitments are based on Club of Madrid Members' experience and other political and expert knowledge. Each is illustrated by feasible approaches and examples for implementation.
• Policy Papers on Responses to Social Cohesion Challenges such as language pluralism, expression of identity and economic inequalities.
• Call to Action for Leadership on Shared Societies, inviting current leaders and organizations around the world to adopt it.
